Cat Rhinehart is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker, writer, and comedian. After being raised Southern-Baptist in Atlanta, Georgia, Cat took off to NYC where she studied film production at Brooklyn College. She has made two feature documentaries, Trashed Nation, a first-hand exploration of unnecessary food waste, and What’s Eating Ralphie May? a Cinéma Vérité of comedian Ralphie May and his family dealing with his addiction during one of the last years of his life - currently in post-production.
Cat created the award-winning comedy web series, My Super-Overactive Imagination. Her humor book of short stories, “Did I Sell My Eggs for This?” was published online by the mobile storytelling app, Tapas Media.
Cat’s first narrative feature, Brand New Old Love, starring Arturo Castro and Aya Cash, was released by Gravitas in 2018, and is available for rent or purchase on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, and other VOD platforms.
